Titus 2

After admonishing selfish behavior in the Christian community at the end of chapter 1, Paul presses on in chapter 2 to illustrate central ministry attitudes.  Speaking sound doctrine, being sound in faith with temperate sensible and reverant behavior, obedient and remembering the blessed hope of the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ…  "These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority".  These attitudes demonstrate a real, wise and community concerned follower of the Lord as opposed to someone who may have self seeking motivations
