These verses remind us that in these last times God has spoken to us through His son. Note the attributes of the son…speaks/reveals God, heir of all things, present at creation, radiates God’s glory, exactly represents God’s nature, sits at the right hand of the Father and is better than the angels. Looking back in Acts 4 (verse 4) as Peter preached, another 5000 heard the message (the logos) and believed. The Son, Jesus, the living Word/logos (also encountered in the written word/logos and preached word/logos) is the embodiment of God’s reaching out to relate to us. He offers a relationship in which we can know Him personally because of the work of the Son…thank you Lord for Your faithfulness.
