We will start to walk verse be verse through the book of Isaiah.  Isaiah was a prophet to the nations of Israel and Judah in the old testament, calling them to repentance in the face of faith challenges that often times tempted them to trust in people and things other than God.  He prophesied both the falls of Israel and Judah and prophesied about the return of the nation of Judah from captivity.  He prophesied about new testament events and the coming of Messiah.  He was a reminder of the grace, sovereignty and justice of God to a people that were searching and stumbling.  In that way too he can be a reminder of these things to us…
