Isaiah 6; A willing heart

When theophany (catching a glimpse or insight into the magnificence of the living God) occurs, hearts change.  As Habakkuk encountered God (Habakkuk chapter 3) and here as Isaiah encounters God, life change happens.  Habakkuk was able to say “(in the face of any life situation) I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation, The Lord is my strength and He has made my feet like hinds’ feet and makes me walk on my high places” (Hb 3:17-19).  Isaiah was able to say, “Here am I send me!” (Isaiah 6:8).  See also Phillip in Acts 8, Paul (Saul) in Acts 9, Ananias in Acts 9 and Peter in Acts 10.  All of these people had a faith encounter with God  and responded with changed hearts which were willing to serve in areas they would have never even imagined.  My desire and prayer is that our faith communities would  encounter God afresh and anew and be willing to respond in service as He would lead and direct…
