Isaiah 15-23; Trusting another

This is a large passage of scripture but the issue is clear.  Whenever Israel or Judah feels threatened, there is always the easy solution of turning for help and reassurance from whatever nation at the time appears to be strongest.  The warning is that none of these nations can even come close to the faithful protection the One Living God offers.  There is none like Him, idols can not compare, He is unique and unseen, He is real and He will judge the nations.  It is so easy for us to trust someone or something else when Jahweh God is able, willing and the only One who can truly embrace our trust.
