Isaiah 50; Strength in the midst of ministry

In this chapter God promises to be our source of strength in the midst of our walks and ministries.  In particular in verses 4 and following, He promises sovereign strength to the servant Messiah.  As a man, Jesus suffered in every way as He reached out to a lost world.  God the Father is promising here that He would be with Him.  In speaking, listening, discipling and humiliation the Lord God was “helping and vindicating” Messiah.  We too are called to trust the Lord God and His Servant Messiah, “let us trust in the name of the Lord and rely on our God (verse 10).”
