Isaiah 65:1-10; A picture of a grace full God

These verses paint a vivid picture of the state of our secular world.  Caught up in ourselves,  we are “those who did not seek Me (God)” and “a nation which did not call upon My (God’s) name”.  So lost, we do not comprehend that we are missing spiritual reality.  Enter the amazing grace of the God of the universe.  He says, “I permitted myself to be sought by [this lost world]” and “I permitted Myself to be found by [this same lost world].”  As we seek and find this God, He sees us as “new wine which is found in the cluster, and one says do not destroy it for there is benefit in it.”  The Lord sees benefit in a seeking heart despite its weakness and frailty.  What a picture of amazing grace.
