Psalm 119:41-48; vav and God’s lovingkindesses and salvation

What an awesome reminder of the amazing gifts God gives to those who follow Him.  Note the plural “lovingkindnesses” in parallel with the gift of salvation in vs 41.  Note the gifts of lovingkindesses; answer/meaning in life (vs 42), waiting/patience (vs 43), walking in liberty (vs 45, it is important to note that liberty comes when we choose to subject ourselves to and follow God’s word), confident speech (vs 46), joy/delight (vs 47) and worship (vs 48…”lift up my hands”).  That the salvation God gives us is seen in parallel with his lovingkindesses (vs 41) brings to mind 2 Peter 3:8-9, “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”  He gives us gifts and patiently draws us to Himself, thank you Lord.
