Psalm 119:65-72; Teth and God’s dealings with us

This psalm promises that God “deals well with us”.  The “us” are those who seek Him and are open to listen to Him.  He teaches us (verses 66,68) and helps us to contextualize and make sense out of afflictions (verses 67,71).  These activities once again bring us into that place where we desire to know and keep God’s commandments and word (verses 66, 67, 69, 71).  God’s dealings are not capricious acts of power but calculated messages of love and correction.   This reminds me of a verse in Hebrews speaking of Christ, “for we do not have a high priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)
