First instance contingency and how the laws of nature open the possibility for miracles

Rather than disallow miracles, the function of the laws of nature actually open up the possibility for the occurence of miracles.  Enter what Robet John Russell (in “Cosmology, from alpha to omega” p. 37) calls “first instance contingency”.  He says, “this first instance contingency…(shows) that even if there were a moment of absolute origination of the universe, not all of the laws of nature were manifest then…hence chemical properties and the rules they obey have a first instantiation (and I would add progress to become established) (and) the resurrection is, purportedly the first instantiation of a new form of nature.”
