Proverbs 15; The anatomy of wisdom (literally)

In these verses tongues, eyes, hearts and brains (minds) form the basis for illustrating truth principles.  First, the tongue and verses 1,2,4 and 7 share regarding our speech.  Soft and soothing answers (as opposed to harsh answers) deescalate and serve as “a tree of life”.  They  also “spread knowledge”.  Eyes illustrate God’s omnipotence and “gladden” the heart.  Hearts serve as the central emotional sense organ receiving joy and sadness and “pondering answers”.  The mind seeks knowledge.  The closing verse of the chapter reminds us again about the fear of the Lord and humility coming before honor.  Amazing principles but not easily applied.
