When guilt meets remorseful taste
As lemon to the palate,
Sunrise chides this cold embrace
But only when forgiven.
Sour’s the place of life ‘neath truth
Where potential exceeds potency.
Living under a nimbus cloud
Of apology in perpetuity.
Until acceptance learns to fly
Inside of life where truth met grace
There the only Potentate
Is Grace Himself, accepting.
