This is another beautiful reminder that our sovereign God is ready and willing to bless, protect and build up those who believe and rely on Him (those who remain faithful enter the gates of the strong city, vs 2). Security (vs 1), perfect peace (vs 3, 12), makes our path smooth and level (vs 7), spiritual relationship (vs 8-9), increase the nation and extend its borders (vs 15) are all blessings that come from building a life of faith and a faith walk with the One true God. I am challenged not to let worldly worries and commitments crowd out the time it takes to develop this faith walk.
